“Neri Malinconici” is a new series composed by abstract drawings which are ment to be works on canvas. The artist  is working on big format paintings and towards an attempt of finding formal abstract harmony.  Black will be the predominant colour. It will be very intense with gashes of lights and colours, which will reveal a specific and hidden architectonical structure. The objective of this brand-new series is the effort towards a purification from the prevalent improvisation in the abstract aesthetic.
I want to reveal references that came from a remote architectonical archeology, ancestral and evocative of the long and complex human journey. The black become a symbol of nights of ancient times. Melancholy is my emotion in this works. Michele Motiscause
